Built with many customizable features, this program is a do it all for administrators who wish to issue username / password accounts for website access (view features below). Protect It Pro features the use of user groups. This allows using one Protect It Pro script to administer your users & block access to multiple directories. Using groups also gives the ability to give access to a certain directory, but no access to a directory inside that.
Protect It Pro can support more than 150,000 username / password combinations without trouble, where flat text files slow the server down when you reach about 5,000-10,000 users. Easy customization allows the administrator to setup as many extra (new) fields he or she wishes that will be saved in a database under their usernames record.
